About
The Arvid E. Miller Memorial Library and Museum is the official repository for the archives of the Stockbridge Munsee Community. Our primary goal is to preserve and protect our history and culture for the community and general public. Our Museum contains collections of objects and documents related to the Stockbridge Munsee people that date from Pre-Contact to Present. Our library consists of written materials, including books, manuscripts, correspondence, handwritten letters, maps, microfilm, microfiche, photographs, and more to help in your research! In addition to the research library we have a more community library with books relating to United States and Native History as well as children and young adult readers. Books are available for check out.
The Library and Museum has a gift shop, where we purchase items from Native artists as well as Native businesses. We are always looking to add more to our shop. If you are interested in selling to the Library and Museum, please contact culturalaffairs@mohican-nsn.gov.
All proceeds made by the gift shop are put back in the Library and Museum so that we can continue to support local native artists.
Continue to check back for our programing schedule and announcements of special events.
