On Friday, August 3, 2007 the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Council held a Special Tribal Council Meeting and at that time the following motions were made and carried.
APPROVAL OF AGENDA-
Motion by Jolene Bowman to approve the agenda. Seconded by Terrie K. Terrio. Motion carried.
EXECUTIVE SESSION-
Motion by Jolene Bowman to go into executive session. Seconded by Terrie K. Terrio. Motion carried at 3:04 PM.
Motion by Terrie K. Terrio to go back into regular session. Seconded by Shannon Holsey. Motion carried at 4:33 PM.
Motion by Terrie k. Terrio to approve resolution number 050-07 to it further be resolved that the Tribal Council hereby authorizes the Tribal President execute the contract documents between the Tribe and Taylor Woodstone for this work and be it finally resolved the Waiver of Sovereign Immunity by Tribal Council is also limited to the terms and conditions set forth below in (1) to limited Waiver of Tribal Sovereign Immunity and (2) and the limited Waiver of Tribal Sovereign Immunity contained in this resolution shall be affective only after the parties officially designated representatives have executed the agreements and shall only be for the term agreement to under the contract document.
Seconded by Shannon Holsey. Motion carried.
