Tribal Council Directives

On Thursday, July 5, 2007 the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Council held a Special Tribal Council Meeting and at that time the following motions were made and carried.

APPROVAL OF AGENDA-

Motion by Wallace A. Miller to approve the agenda. Seconded by Terrie K. Terrio

EXECUTIVE SESSION-

While in Executive Session discussion was held on the Aid to Local Government Grants.

Motion by Scott R. Vele to go into Executive Session. Seconded by Terrie K. Terrio.

Motion carried at 10:07 AM.

Motion by Scott R. Vele to come out of Executive Session. Seconded by Wallace A. Miller. Motion carried at 11:00 AM.

Motion by Scott R Vele to approve the following Aid to Local Government applications. (Information embargoed until next week) Seconded by Wallace A. Miller. Motion carried.

FINACING RFP-

Motion by Scott R. Vele to approve the request for the financing proposals for the Stockbridge-Munsee Community as presented and revised on Thursday, July 5 ,2007 for the new casino project. Seconded by Terrie K. Terrio. Motion carried.

CONTRACT ISSUE-

Motion by Terrie K. Terrio to extend Buck Martin’s current contract through July and hopefully at the next agenda we have a copy of the contract with the outline of the duties. Seconded by Wallace A. Miller.

Roll Call: Terrie yes, Jolene yes, Wally yes, Shannon yes and Scott opposed. Motion carried.

Motion by Scott R. Vele to adjourn. Seconded by Terrie K. Terrio. Motion carried 11:29 AM.
