Tribal Council Directives

On Thursday, April 5, 2007, the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Council held a Special Tribal Council Meeting and at that time the following motions were made and carried:

APPROVAL OF AGENDA-

Add: Discussion on Food Vendor Permit

Strike: CHS-Optical Revisions and Tribally Funded Referral Services and Residency Form (Until the full council can be present for discussion and approval)

Motion by Scott R. Vele to approve the revised Special Tribal Council Meeting with the Health Board of Thursday, April 5th, 2007, 10:00 AM. Seconded by Jolene Bowman. Motion carried.

SMHWC BLOOD BOURNE PATHOGEN CONTROL PLAN-

Motion by Shannon Holsey to approve the Stockbridge-Munsee Health can Wellness Center Blood Bourne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan. Seconded by Jolene Bowman.

Roll Call: Jolene yes, Shannon yes and Scott no. Motion carried.

ELLA BESAW CENTER BLOOD BOURNE PATHOGEN PLAN-

Motion by Shannon Holsey to approve the Ella Besaw Center Blood Bourne Pathogen Exposure Control Plan. Seconded by Jolene Bowman.

Roll Call: Jolene yes, Shannon yes and Scott no. Motion carried.

ELLA BESAW MISSING PERSON-

Motion by Jolene Bowman to approve the Ella Besaw Missing Person Policy #200CBRF0035, with the noted corrections. Seconded by Shannon Holsey. (last page adding be) Motion carried.

SAFETY MANAGEMENT PLAN-

Motion by Jolene Bowman to approve the Safety Management Plan as presented. Seconded by Scott R. Vele.

Roll Call: Jolene yes, Shannon abstain and Scott abstain. Motion carried.

GENERAL APPEALS PROCESS-

Motion by Jolene Bowman to approve the Grant Appeals Process #202ADMI0032, with the correction on F, striking hostile. Seconded by Scott R. Vele. Motion carried.

LASER EYE SURGERY-

Motion by Jolene Bowman to approve the Laser Eye Surgery Policy Number 202ADMI0018, as presented. Seconded by Scott R. Vele. Motion carried.

ORTHODONTIC PROGRAM-

Motion by Scott R. Vele to approve the revised Orthodontic Program 202DENT0006, as presented by the Health Director, Health Board and Staff. Seconded by Shannon Holsey.

Roll Call: Jolene abstains, Shannon yes and Scott yes. Motion carried.

Jolene abstains because she was on the health board when this was revised.

FOOD VENDOR PERMIT DISCUSSION-

No action taken at this time.
