Motion by Scott R. Vele to approve for the President’ signature, resolution number 026-07, which is a limited waiver of sovereign immunity for the Companion Life Insurance Company contract with the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Council. Seconded by Shannon Holsey.

Motion by Jolene Bowman to approve resolution 027-07, to support the recommendation of the Division of Community Housing in the conveyance of tenant number 66-01, to Jeffery V. Vele Sr. Seconded by Sterling Schreiber. Motion carried. Scott was not present during this item.

Motion by Scott R. Vele to approve the requested revision to the Housekeeper Supervisor position, as presented by P&E and Human Resources.

Motion by Scott R. Vele to approve the new position description as requested by the Tribal Administrator and the Human Resource Director, which is the Senior Aide Activities Assistant at the listed salary and to remove the following duties; number two, number three and number five and under qualifications remove two, six, seven and eight for posting. Motion dies for a lack of second.

President Chicks gave an update.

Motion by Scott R. Vele to approve the revisions as presented of the Gaming Waiver Policy as recommend by the Mohican Gaming Commission and reviewed by the Tribal Council, to approve resolution number 028-07 for the President’s signature, Now Therefore Be it Resolved, that the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Council hereby clarifying the offenses listed in Section II, Scope and Coverage of the Tribal Gaming Waiver Policy; and in Section IV.6., and removing contradicting statements in Section V.3 and Section VI.2 to make the policy in compliance with what is stated in the Tribal Gaming Ordinance.; now Therefore Be It Resolved, that the Stockbridge-Munsee Tribal Council hereby approves the amendments to the Tribal Gaming Waiver Policy, attached hereto and incorporated herein. Seconded by Shannon Holsey. Motion carried.

Questions on obtaining the barn currently being used by Forestry and Public Safety next to his property. Would like to see the Forestry and Public Safety use one of the building on the former Paiser Property.

Discussion on the Tribal Council helping the Veteran’s put up their building by the Memorial.

Motion by Scott R. Vele to re-bid the home on W13364 Camp 14 Road with a minimum bid of $60,000.00. Seconded by Sterling Schreiber.

Motion by Scott R. Vele to retain the Leeds Property and take it off the market at this time. Seconded by Wallace A. Miller.
